"They call me Mr Pig!” said Pumbaa to Shenzi on 1994’s Disney Classic "The Lion King". But he is not a pig, he is a gluttonous warthog that has conquered generations with his “Hakuna Matata” lifestyle. In this artwork, we can see a full close-up of the character as seen at about the 1:12:23 mark of the film, during his musical number to distract the hyenas. This is a preliminary drawing of the character, not used for the production. It is marked 1 in the bottom right corner and presents a note that reads YUP, the line that he sings at the time, on the top right corner. The sheet has some tearing near the bottom left corner that does not affect the artwork.
