This original animation drawing can be seen at minute 7:59 of the short film "Mickey’s Garden" on online views, the second Mickey Mouse film in Disney History shot in Technicolor. In this hallucination scene, Mickey fights against a snake before it is converted into a hose. This drawing has some effects in red pencil in the hose, and has different production notes: both on the upper and lower right sides, numbered 98.

"Mickey’s Garden" is being invaded by bugs. He cleverly creates an insecticide to get rid of these bugs, but it is  accidentally sprayed on him and he finds himself in an imaginary world with creatures and giants. This is the plot of this short film directed by Wilfred Jackson, known for his direction work on the "Fantasia" segment "Night on Bald Mountain". Released on July 13th 1935, Mickey’s voice is played by Walt Disney and Pluto’s bark by Pinto Colvig.

"Mickey’s Garden" was the second Mickey Mouse short shot on Technicolor, a technique from 1914 and widely used on Disney’s features during the 30s and 40s, that allowed in a revolutionary way images to be projected in full color. In this short film we can see for the first time ever Pluto in his color.

This animation drawing is part of one of the most famous surreal scenes starring Mickey Mouse, but also a piece of Disney history and Art of Animation ever created. A short film that is supposed to be a turning point in animation and color that can be yours right now!
