We present to you two exceptional drawings from the most iconic scene in "Sleeping Beauty": Princess Aurora as Briar Rose and a forest owl mocking the Prince while they dance to the iconic song "Once Upon a Dream." Both original animation drawings are from the same frame of Sleeping Beauty, which can be seen at the 30:35 mark of the film. Both masterpieces are rendered in black pencil, with the Aurora drawing showing corrections on the pegholes. Aurora's drawing is marked 16 in the lower right corner, while the Owl is marked 216 in the same spot, clearly indicating that they are part of the same scene.

Released in 1959, "Sleeping Beauty" is a timeless animated masterpiece that has captivated audiences for generations and held a special place in Walt Disney’s heart, as he regarded it as his crowning achievement. The film’s greatest triumph lies in its breathtaking animation, with its meticulous attention to detail, vibrant colors, and majestic backgrounds that immerse viewers in a world of enchantment. The unique art style of "Sleeping Beauty" is a visual marvel that distinguishes it from other Disney classics.

Finding a drawing of Princess Aurora as Briar Rose is extremely difficult. Not only because she appears in just 18 minutes of the film, but also because she represented a significant achievement in character animation thanks to Disney Legend Marc Davis's creativity. In Davis's own words: “We had decided to do Sleeping Beauty as what Walt called a ‘moving illustration’ so … we stylized the drawing of Briar Rose.”

We offer you the opportunity to own not just one, but two original production masterpieces from a landmark film like "Sleeping Beauty" and iconic Princess Aurora in this unique set of two drawings used to create one of the most memorable scenes in the Disney Animation History.
