This original animation drawing can be seen at mark 8:10 of the short film "Self Control" on online views. Here we can see a great bust of Donald Duck showing his best facial expression getting really angry with his fists up. Donald’s drawing has shade effect lines on red and green. The artwork is stamped with ART PROPS DEPT inked stamp, and numbered 329 1B on the lower right side.

Released on February 11th 1938, "Self Control" is the first time in Animation History where we can see Donald Duck trying to control his temper. At the beginning of the film, he is just trying to take a nap with a radio program on, but the other inhabitants of his garden will do their best to impede it.

The film was directed by Jack King, best known as one of the earliest pioneers of Animation. He worked for Warner Bros’ Looney Tunes and for The Walt Disney Company, where he directed over 50 Donald Duck short films in just 12 years. The story of this feature was created by Disney Legend Carl Barks, "the Duck Man", the man in charge of creating all the universe around Donald Duck.

Do not miss this opportunity to have at home a piece on Disney and Animation History: the first time ever that Donald Duck was angry, something that soon became his natural state!
