"Love to chop and serve little fish” said Chef Louis with his French accent while dancing and spinning around Prince Eric’s castle kitchen. Here we can see a full figure of the fun character right when he has burnt his finger, around the 12:54 mark of the film “The Little Mermaid”. The chef is drawn on black colored pencil and the artwork is noted 3 on the lower right side.

In the vast ocean of animated films, “The Little Mermaid” is a creation that leaves an indelible mark on both the cinematic landscape and our hearts. Released in 1989 and based on a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, this film with unforgettable characters, a charming storyline and a captivating musical score, became a pivotal moment in the history of animation and a renaissance for Disney’s animated features.

Beyond its cultural impact, “The Little Mermaid” marked a significant technological advancement for Disney animation.
