It’s lunchtime for construction worker Mickey Mouse! This original animation drawing can be seen at minute 3:45 of the beloved short film "Building a Building" on online views, where Mickey is flirting with Minnie while preparing a sandwich. Paper is watermarked by Management Bond, a Hammermill Product. The sandwich is colored red and yellow and the artwork is numbered 5 on the upper right side and 3 on the lower right side.

Directed by David Hand, Walt Disney’s right-hand man and the chief director of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", this short movie tells the story of a worker Mickey Mouse, a mean foreman played by Peg-Leg Pete and a flirting Minnie Mouse. Although the plot and the film itself was not original at all, but a remake of "The Sky Scrapper", an Oswald The Lucky Rabbit short film from 1928, it is one of the most infamous Mickey Mouse classical short films ever.

Conscientiously released on January 7th 1933, when America was plunged into an economical crisis, "Building a Building" supposed a wink to all the workers and a ray of hope and happiness.

Take a part of History home with this artwork with Mickey Mouse on one of his most celebrated roles ever, a story and a gag that has and will last in time as probably no other else.
