This original animation drawing can be seen at minute 1:33 of the short film "Mickey’s Pal Pluto" on online views, the first film in Disney history including the name of Pluto on the title. Here we can see Pluto in his original shape, licking clean one of the kittens. On the upper right side we can notice a small erased correction with different Pluto heads and the mark 21. The artwork is numbered 21A on the lower right side.

Directed by Burt Gillet and released on February 18th 1933, "Mickey’s Pal Pluto" tells the story of Pluto rescuing some lovely kittens. But when Mickey and Minnie treat them well, Pluto’s evil size convinces him to start a rivalry with the kittens. In this short film, Pluto’s barks are played by Disney Legend Pinto Colvig, the man behind the voice of Goofy and many other Disney characters. The voice of Mickey Mouse is played by Walt Disney himself.

"Mickey’s Pal Pluto" was a great success, so Disney decided to make a remake of the film and in 1941 they presented Oscar award winning "Lend a Paw".

Decades after its release, "Mickey’s Pal Pluto" continues to bring smiles to the faces of both new and nostalgic audiences. This artwork serves as a testament to Disney’s mastery in creating timeless stories and characters. A unique opportunity to get Pluto on his primitive shape, and not from a general short film, but from the first film including his name on the title. A must for Disney and animation fans, but above all a must for Pluto’s fans!
